This class is designed to build muscle strength & balance in a gentle way. It is ideal for the less mobile & those using walking aids. We start seated, then do standing exercises using a chair for support if required. Seated cooldown & stretching. Stay Steady is a lovely social group with leaders Noeleen & Glennis.
A Level 1 class, it is designed to build muscle strength and improve balance in a gentle and gradual way. The exercises start seated, then standing and walking exercises using a chair for support if required and the cooldown and stretching and the end is seated. Participants are encouraged to go at their own pace.
Class members report greater confidence, feeling stronger and over time report greater ease in activities of daily living. Classes are 45mins long.
Please phone before your first class and then arrive a few minutes early to settle in and complete a registration form.
