Improve Your Balance & Independence with SAYGO

Steady As You Go (SAYGO) is a specialised exercise programme developed to help older adults and those with mobility concerns maintain their independence and confidence through targeted movement.

These gentle yet effective classes focus on improving three key areas:

  • Balance: Reduce fall risk through exercises that improve stability and coordination
  • Strength: Build muscle power in the legs to support everyday activities
  • Mobility: Enhance joint flexibility and movement patterns

The supportive, social atmosphere makes SAYGO classes a fantastic way to meet others while working on your physical wellbeing. Our exercises are carefully selected to accommodate different ability levels, and you'll progress at your own pace with guidance from experienced instructors.

Many participants report improved confidence in daily activities, better posture, and enhanced quality of life after attending SAYGO classes regularly. The seated elements ensure everyone can participate, regardless of fitness level or mobility challenges.

Join our welcoming community at Te Tūhunga Rau and take a positive step toward maintaining your independence and wellbeing. Wear comfortable clothing and supportive shoes, and bring a water bottle to stay hydrated during the session.
