Meet Up with Masterton Tramping Club

Find your next outdoor adventure by joining the Masterton Tramping Club at our monthly meetings! Held every first Wednesday (except January) at 7:30pm, these 90-minute sessions are your gateway to exploring tramping opportunities across the Wairarapa and beyond. Whether you’re new to tramping or an experienced hiker, our club welcomes all ages and fitness levels. There’s no entry fee, so it’s a fantastic, cost-free way to connect with others who share your passion for the outdoors. Expect engaging guest speakers or training segments to boost your skills for upcoming trips.

Step into a community that organises tramping trips most weekends, ranging from easy local Sunday walks to multi-day adventures outside the Tararuas. With trip categories from Easy (4-6 hours, beginner-friendly) to Fit (6+ hours, for experienced trampers), there’s something for everyone. New members are encouraged to start with an Easy trip to gauge their fitness. Equipment is also available to borrow, ensuring you’re ready to hit the trails. Follow our Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/mastertontc/) for the latest trip updates. 🌲👟

Why not join us at the next meeting? It’s a great chance to meet fellow adventurers, plan your next hike, and be part of a supportive group dedicated to exploring nature.
