Held on the first Tuesday of each month at 10 am, these gatherings at the Ocean Road Community Centre provide a welcoming space for social connection and intellectual stimulation. As a Probus-inspired club with roots in Rotary and Probus organisations, we focus on fostering camaraderie and expanding horizons for retirees aged 50 and above.

During our 2-hour sessions, you’ll enjoy brief committee updates, a short talk by a club member (our “mini” speaker), and an insightful presentation by an external guest speaker. These talks often spark lively discussions, keeping minds sharp and curious. Plus, complimentary morning tea is provided, creating a perfect moment to chat and connect with fellow members over a cuppa ☕. Whether you’re local to Paraparaumu Beach or visiting from another district, you’re welcome to join as a guest—just reach out to our President or Secretary beforehand if possible. The annual subscription for full membership is just $36, making it an affordable way to stay socially and mentally active.
